Fertility Nurse

About the role

The Fertility Nurse will join Omega Golden Fertility’s clinic in Lagos to provide comprehensive reproductive health care. Working closely with physicians and lab staff, you will support patients through the entire fertility journey, from initial assessment to treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform gynecological examinations to assess patient health and identify issues affecting pregnancy outcomes.
• Counsel patients on family planning, birth control options, and infertility treatments.
• Educate patients about conception, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, parenting skills, and newborn care.
• Conduct ultrasound imaging to screen for uterine fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, and other fertility‑related conditions.
• Prepare and administer medications tailored to each patient’s treatment plan.
• Execute laboratory procedures to prepare sperm or eggs for in‑vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Perform tests to determine hormone levels, liver function, and other factors influencing reproductive health.
• Review test results with patients and recommend appropriate treatment options.
• Coordinate with other medical staff involved in the patient’s care pathway.

Required profile

• B.Sc degree in Nursing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a fertility or reproductive health nursing role.
• Mid‑level professional experience (approximately 36 months).
