Fashion Design Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Fashion Design Assistant to support our Creative Director and design team. You will help translate fashion trends into commercial concepts, assist with material selection, and contribute to client presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing fashion concepts, sketches, and design ideas.
• Create clear fashion illustrations and technical sketches.
• Research and organise mood boards, design references, and visual concepts.
• Support fabric, trim, and material selection for upcoming collections.
• Attend client consultation meetings, take detailed notes, and present relevant design ideas.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, techniques, and industry developments.
• Prepare design presentations, references, and internal development materials.
• Provide general support to the Creative Director and design team on creative tasks.

Required profile

• Proven ability in fashion illustration and sketching.
• Good understanding of garment construction, silhouettes, fabrics, and finishing.
• Strong sense of style, proportion, colour, and detail.
• Clear visual and verbal communication of design concepts.
• Previous experience in a fashion studio or atelier is an advantage.
