About the role
We are seeking a proactive Farm Administrator to oversee daily operations on our plantation in Marina, Cross River. The role involves supervising farm workers, managing crop production, and ensuring equipment maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers.
- Assign duties such as land preparation, planting, weeding, fertilizer application, and harvesting.
- Prepare detailed daily reports covering worker attendance, tasks completed, crop conditions, and operational challenges.
- Maintain inventory and proper storage of farm tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Coordinate necessary repairs and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Monitor the growth and health of plantain, sweet potato, and cassava crops.
- Conduct field inspections to identify pests, diseases, and irrigation needs.
- Ensure farm workers follow health and safety protocols and use tools properly.
Required profile
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in farm administration or related field.
- A minimum of a degree in a related field.
