Execution Specialist – Nigeria Operations

About the role

The Execution Specialist will lead operational data management, expansion mapping, and process optimisation for One Acre Fund’s Nigeria programme, supporting over 100,000 smallholder farmers across the state.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain operational data protocols for seedling production, farmer enrollment and distribution.
• Design, build and maintain real‑time dashboards to track KPIs, inventory and performance metrics.
• Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks, forecast capacity and drive data‑informed decisions.
• Lead expansion mapping, conduct nursery feasibility studies and create standard launch playbooks.
• Optimise processes, integrate field technology (automated tools, mobile tracking, GIS) and audit Gemba operations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Expansion and Tech teams; manage vendor, logistics and procurement relationships.
• Map and mitigate operational risks affecting timelines, input delivery or cost efficiency.
• Lead, mentor and motivate geographically dispersed teams; develop SOPs and deliver regular training.
• Conduct performance reviews, set targets and support recruitment plans at state or regional level.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, including team leadership.
• University degree in Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Agroforestry, International Development or a related quantitative field.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Proven experience implementing field‑level projects in rural contexts.
