Estate Surveyor & Valuer (Real Estate)

About the role

A reputable firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, based in Victoria Island, Lagos, is looking for an experienced Estate Surveyor & Valuer to join its team. The role supports the firm's valuation, agency, property advisory and other professional estate surveying activities, requiring strong technical knowledge, good client management skills and the ability to handle property briefs independently and deliver quality reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections, valuations and market research, and prepare professional valuation reports.
• Handle property agency assignments, including property sourcing, marketing, inspections and client coordination.
• Support the acquisition and management of new property briefs and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare reports, documentation and correspondence for clients and internal use.
• Monitor assigned briefs and ensure timely delivery of client requirements.
• Support business development and help generate new valuation and agency briefs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management.
• At least 4 years of post-NYSC experience in estate surveying and valuation.
• Good practical knowledge of property valuation and agency practice, and experience preparing valuation reports and handling assignments independently.
• Strong understanding of the Lagos property market is an advantage.
• Professional membership or qualification with NIESV/ESVARBON is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ICT tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and client management skills.

What we offer

• Full-time position in Victoria Island, Lagos.
• Pay of N300,000 net per month plus commission on sourced briefs and other benefits.
