About the role
We are seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Lagos, supporting our mining and energy operations. The role involves providing technical expertise for electrical equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance across projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for electrical equipment and systems.
- Handle complex electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Support maintenance, turnaround, and new project activities.
- Implement maintenance strategies for electrical equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Required profile
- 5–7 years of experience in an engineering firm or Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of HV & LV power distribution, motor drives, alternators, inverters, switchgear, breakers, and electrical protection systems.
- Good understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control logic diagrams.
- Experience with CMMS/SAP for work orders and maintenance activities.
- Understanding of instrumentation and mechanical systems.
- Previous FPSO experience is an advantage.
