Driver

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver to transport staff and principals to their daily destinations across Lagos and surrounding areas. The role involves safe, punctual travel, vehicle upkeep, and occasional work on Sundays, public holidays, and late nights.

Key responsibilities

• Drive staff and principals to assigned locations using the most efficient routes.
• Utilise navigation apps such as Google Maps to plan and adjust routes in real time.
• Maintain a full fuel tank by processing fuel vouchers promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage or items.
• Monitor traffic and weather reports to stay informed of road conditions.
• Ensure all passengers wear seat belts and the vehicle interior remains clean and tidy.
• Schedule regular service appointments and report any maintenance or paperwork issues.
• Adapt routes to avoid heavy traffic or construction as needed.
• Report any vehicle or route issues to the supervisor or Protocol and Logistics officer.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of S.S.C.E (secondary school certificate).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar driving role.
• Availability to work occasional Sundays, public holidays, and late‑night shifts.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful traffic situations.
• Willingness to work at any location, mainland or island, as assigned.

Required skills

• Proficiency with navigation applications, especially Google Maps.
