About the role
The Director of Food & Beverage will lead all food and beverage operations for the upcoming Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja, slated to open in 2026. This senior position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability across all outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and manage all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and in‑room dining, ensuring service excellence and brand compliance.
- Develop and control annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; analyze revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Drive revenue through innovative promotions, menu engineering, and upselling strategies.
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service, handling VIP guests, complaints, and special requests.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate F&B team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, innovation, and market‑trend alignment.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene regulations, local laws, and company policies.
- Work with Sales & Marketing to promote F&B events, banquets, and increase market share.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in food & beverage operations, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and operational expertise.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue and manage large teams.
