Direct Sales Agent

About the role

Kuda, a fast‑growing fintech focused on making financial services accessible across Africa, is seeking motivated Direct Sales Agents to expand its customer base. In this talent‑pipeline position you will actively promote Kuda’s banking, loan and POS solutions, acquire new clients and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals within the assigned territory.
• Market Kuda’s personal and business banking products, loans and POS terminals to potential customers.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Negotiate pricing and terms, conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
• Ensure full compliance with KYC, AML and all internal bank policies.
• Educate clients on electronic banking benefits and guide them through onboarding.
• Record all sales activities and customer interactions in the company’s CRM system.
• Represent Kuda at roadshows, community fairs and local events to generate leads.
• Provide ongoing client support, including training and troubleshooting.
• Gather feedback for marketing and product teams to improve offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Direct Sales Agent or in a similar sales/customer‑service role, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with proven negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management capabilities.
