CSCC Clinician – HIV ART Services

About the role

The CSCC Clinician will join the Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) to deliver antiretroviral therapy (ART) services to high‑risk individuals across cluster health facilities and mobile units in Ika South, Delta State. Working closely with the program team, the clinician will ensure that service delivery aligns with WHO recommendations and national guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for ART provision.
• Provide ART services to persons at increased risk, both in fixed facilities and through mobile ART outreach.
• Oversee clinical HIV treatment protocols across all clinical departments.
• Ensure seamless client journey from intake to discharge.
• Supervise and mentor CSCC case‑management teams, including clinicians, volunteers, and mobile ART staff.
• Advise on compliance with national and state policies, licensing, and inspections.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly clinical staff meetings.
• Support the Strategic Information unit in data collection and reporting using approved tools.

Required profile

• Relevant clinical qualification (e.g., Medical Doctor, Nurse, or equivalent) with experience in HIV/AIDS care.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of WHO and national ART guidelines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
