Consultant Analyst – Data Analysis, QA & Capacity Building

About the role

Evidence Action is seeking a Consultant Analyst to accelerate the improvement plan for the West and Central Africa Data Analytics and Learning (DAL) unit. You will provide hands‑on technical coaching, co‑develop analysis protocols and SOPs, and act as the primary quality assurance reviewer for Comprehensive Facility Survey (CFS) analysis outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical coaching to the DAL team on data‑analysis workflows and quality assurance practices.
• Co‑create structured analysis protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for CFS analysis.
• Train team members on the application of new protocols and SOPs.
• Review all analysis outputs, ensuring they meet defined quality standards before release.
• Support the implementation of the improvement plan ahead of the October 2026 CFS round.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis, quality assurance, and capacity‑building within a monitoring, learning, or evaluation context.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with health or global‑development data projects is a plus.
