Collections Strategy Manager

About the role

The Collections Strategy Manager will lead the design and execution of strategies that improve debt recovery performance for Renmoney’s portfolio. Reporting to the head of Collections, the role combines analytical insight, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive efficiency and meet key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth portfolio analysis and recommend actions to boost collection efficiency.
• Manage budgeting and expense planning for the Debt Collection Department, translating figures into P&L metrics and aligning financial plans with operational KPIs.
• Design, launch, and evaluate A/B tests to validate hypotheses and improve processes.
• Monitor collection KPIs (RPC, PTP, Recovery Rate, etc.) and act quickly on any deviations.
• Support and enhance existing collection reports and dashboards.
• Initiate and coordinate the creation of new reporting tools and dashboards.
• Lead the piloting and production deployment of new collection tools and strategies.
• Work closely with Product, Operations, and Legal teams to synchronize strategic changes.
• Research global debt‑collection trends and adapt best practices for the local market.
• Prepare regular analytical reports and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in portfolio or strategy management within banking or micro‑finance.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience handling large data sets.
• Hands‑on experience designing and analysing A/B tests.
• Familiarity with automation tools used in debt collection.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Upper‑intermediate English proficiency or higher.
