Civil Structural Engineer – Onsite

About the role

U Build Limited is seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to plan, design, analyze and supervise on‑site construction projects, ensuring structural safety, durability and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and oversee structural engineering projects, delivering safe, functional and cost‑effective solutions.
• Conduct structural analysis using appropriate engineering tools and software.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, blueprints and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, architects and contractors to ensure accurate execution of specifications.
• Inspect project sites, monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
• Develop project budgets, material estimates and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and quality standards.
• Perform risk assessments and propose effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to construction teams for seamless delivery.
• Stay current on industry best practices, technologies and materials.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, structural analysis and construction processes.
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro or Revit.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work in a fast‑paced project environment.
• Availability for full on‑site work; remote or hybrid options are not offered.
