Chinese Interpreter / Translator

About the role

PalmPay is seeking a Chinese Interpreter/Translator to provide accurate, timely interpretation and translation between Mandarin Chinese and English. The role supports cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication across product, operations, customer support and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret during meetings, video calls and presentations between Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Translate documents, emails, product materials and internal communications.
• Ensure translated content is culturally appropriate and aligns with PalmPay’s brand and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with operations, product, customer support and leadership teams to bridge language gaps.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Experience in professional interpretation and translation, preferably in business, finance or technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple translation requests under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, International Relations, Communications or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with translation tools or computer‑assisted translation (CAT) software.
