Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Remote, Equity‑Based

About the role

DivCex is an early‑stage company building at the intersection of African innovation, capital, and global ecosystems. As a remote‑first CTO you will work directly with the Founder & CEO to turn the vision into real products, systems, and infrastructure, from defining the initial architecture to delivering the MVP.

Key responsibilities

• Own DivCex’s technology vision and roadmap.
• Design and build the initial products and technical infrastructure.
• Make key decisions around architecture, tools, platforms, security, and scalability.
• Translate business opportunities into practical technology solutions.
• Eventually build and lead the engineering team as the company grows.
• Help shape the technical culture and long‑term product direction.

Required profile

• Passion for building products rather than merely managing teams.
• Comfortable starting from zero with limited resources and turning concepts into working solutions.
• Experience in fintech, Web3, marketplaces, APIs, or financial technology is valuable.
