Chief Commercial Officer – Government Software Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead sales of our proprietary software platforms to key public‑sector institutions in Nigeria. The role focuses on securing high‑value contracts with security agencies, the judiciary, universities and specialised government bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting Nigeria Police Force, DSS, NIA, armed forces welfare and HR systems, federal and state courts, universities, polytechnics, teaching hospitals and other government‑owned enterprises.
• Identify and engage senior decision‑makers (IG/DG/VC/Chief Justice) across at least three institution categories, maintaining active relationships.
• Navigate complex, politically sensitive procurement processes and lead negotiations for contracts valued at ₦50 million or more.
• Own the pricing framework, defend it at board level, and ensure compliance with pricing governance and revenue‑operation standards.
• Collaborate with product, legal and finance teams to structure commercial agreements and manage multi‑revenue‑stream business models.

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing; MBA (Marketing) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of sales or commercial experience with Nigerian security agencies, judiciary, universities or specialist government institutions.
• Proven track record of closing contracts of ₦50 million+ and existing relationships with senior institutional leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex government technology procurement, including classified or restricted processes.
• Experience in commercial contract structuring and pricing governance at board level.
