Chemistry Teacher

About the role

Vincollins Schools is looking for a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join its Lagos campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned Chemistry lessons, supervise laboratory practicals, and support students in preparing for both internal and external examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring clarity and student engagement.
• Conduct laboratory practical sessions while strictly adhering to safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, tests, assignments, and examinations to assess learning outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance, providing feedback and remedial support as needed.
• Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and external examinations, aiming for high achievement.

Required profile

• B.Ed. or B.Sc. in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Minimum of three years (36 months) of teaching experience in a secondary education setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities and effective communication skills.
