Category Executive – Brand Management (Agribusiness)

About the role

Our client, a leading agribusiness company, seeks to hire a Category Executive – Brand Management to manage and grow assigned crop protection product categories through effective planning, market analysis, and cross‑functional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of category plans aligned with sales and growth objectives.
• Manage assigned product categories, including SKU performance tracking and crop‑focused initiatives.
• Monitor product performance and recommend actions to improve category growth and profitability.
• Support product launches, positioning, pricing activities, and promotional execution.
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure product availability and effective market distribution.
• Coordinate trade promotions, farmer activations, field demonstrations, and seasonal campaigns.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis on pricing, product offerings, and promotional activities.
• Gather and analyze market data to support commercial and category decisions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly category performance reports for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Marketing or a related field (minimum Second Class Upper).
• 3–5 years’ experience in category management, marketing, sales operations or commercial roles.
• Understanding of crop protection products, crop cycles and farming systems.
• Strong analytical, coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
