Cashier & Account Support

About the role

The Cashier & Account Support role combines front‑line sales processing with basic accounting assistance in a fast‑moving retail environment. You will handle transactions, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and support the finance team as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Process retail and wholesale sales via POS, accepting cards, bank transfers and approved payment methods.
• Issue receipts or invoices for every sale and ensure correct posting in the sales system.
• Verify transfers, flag suspicious payments, and obtain supervisor approval before releasing goods.
• Reconcile daily POS and transfer records against system reports and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Greet customers courteously, address price and payment queries, and refer complaints to the line manager.
• Submit daily sales reports on time and highlight stock or pricing errors observed in the ERP.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Degree in a related field.
• Strong numeracy with fast, accurate counting and calculation.
• Honesty, integrity and professional attitude with customers.
• Ability to stay calm and accurate during busy periods.
