Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in‑home support for individuals who need assistance with daily activities. This part‑time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients in the Marina area of Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care.
• Help clients move safely in and out of bed, use mobility aids, and navigate the home.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and monitor nutritional intake.
• Manage medication schedules and ensure timely administration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and prescription pick‑ups.
• Observe physical or behavioral changes and report them to healthcare professionals.
• Schedule and accompany clients to medical appointments, respecting their preferences and rights.
• Provide companionship, encourage participation in hobbies, community activities, and social outings.

Required profile

• Minimum education: SSCE, OND, or relevant caregiving certification.
• At least 12 months of experience caring for elderly individuals, children, or persons with special needs.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with mobility needs.
