Business Development Officer

About the role

BeeEx Human Resources Consulting is seeking a Business Development Officer to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across Nigeria and neighboring countries. The role combines prospecting new clients, managing key accounts, and delivering sales strategies within the education and publishing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting retail, wholesale, institutional and corporate clients.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet assigned revenue targets and generate leads through networking, referrals, events and direct outreach.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, conduct regular visits and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Expand the organization’s presence by targeting schools, universities, libraries, NGOs and government agencies, and represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
• Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, market intelligence updates and track key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least an HND in a related field.
• Proven ability in sales strategy development, negotiation and closing.
• Strong commercial awareness and result‑oriented mindset.
