Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for MedPrime Diagnostics by identifying new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients, partners, HMOs and corporate organisations in Lagos. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines sales, partnership development and coordination with clinical and operations teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the healthcare market.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, HMOs, corporate accounts and strategic partners.
• Generate referrals and secure HMO partnerships to expand the client base.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and follow up on leads.
• Support marketing initiatives and promote diagnostic services.
• Represent MedPrime Diagnostics at business meetings, networking events and client engagements.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor performance against revenue targets and report progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales or account management.
• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, HMO or corporate sales is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Target‑driven, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of the Lagos healthcare market is a plus.
