Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for Night Blue Global Services Limited by acquiring new retail, corporate, high‑net‑worth and institutional clients across our stockbroking, wealth management and fixed‑income product suite. This role focuses on expanding assets under management and brokerage income while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients across retail, corporate, high‑net‑worth and institutional segments.
• Promote the firm’s stockbroking, wealth management, fixed‑income and other investment products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Conduct investment presentations, client meetings and financial literacy seminars.
• Prepare tailored business proposals and investment solutions aligned with client goals.
• Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities and collaborate with internal teams for seamless onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, NGX rules, AML/CFT requirements and internal policies.
• Produce periodic business development and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar business development role within banking, finance or investment services.
• Proven track record of acquiring and managing retail, corporate or institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of investment products and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
