Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new leads and generate qualified opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and prepare proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new accounts smoothly.
• Monitor market trends, maintain CRM records, and represent the institution at industry events.

Required profile

• Strong skills in new business development and lead generation.
• Solid business and account management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Relevant experience in financial services, insurance, or related sectors.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office productivity tools is an advantage.
