Business Development Executive

About the role

The Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive growth in the education and financial services market. You will be responsible for expanding the client base, building lasting relationships, and supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research, and target potential clients and new market opportunities to expand business reach.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand the customer base.
• Conduct sales pitches, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients and decision‑makers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreement terms to close deals successfully.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies and deliver exceptional client solutions.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive activities to identify growth potential.
• Maintain accurate records of sales pipelines, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in EdTech, education, technology training, B2B sales or institutional business development is an advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications in sales, marketing or business development are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for managing pipelines and client interactions.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 250,000 to NGN 400,000.
