About the role

Join SBS Software as a Business Developer focused on West and Central Africa. You will drive the commercial growth of our fintech solutions, hunting new business opportunities across banks, financial institutions and fintechs.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to generate new opportunities in the region.
  • Identify, qualify and convert high‑potential prospects such as banks, fintechs and other financial institutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from needs assessment to contract signature.
  • Collaborate with pre‑sales, product, marketing and delivery teams to design tailored value propositions.
  • Coordinate responses to RFPs, formal consultations and represent SBS Software at regional events.
  • Maintain a high‑level professional network (CxOs, CEOs, CIOs, COOs) and provide accurate pipeline reporting in Salesforce.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and relay market insights to internal teams.

Required profile

  • 10–15 years of experience selling complex software solutions, preferably in core banking or financial services.
  • Deep knowledge of West and Central African banking markets and proven hunting experience.
  • Comfortable with long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in French and proficient in professional English.
  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, finance, information systems or related field.

Required skills

  • Salesforce CRM for pipeline management.
  • Understanding of core banking and digital banking solutions.
