Brand & Events Manager

About the role

The Brand & Events Manager will plan and organise all company events, ensuring they follow HBM Nigeria’s brand guidelines while staying within budget and time constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new and existing corporate branding platforms, delivering effective storytelling and social interaction.
• Support procurement and branding of corporate gifts and collaterals in line with brand guidelines for various stakeholder groups.
• Ensure consistent branding of HBM Nigeria events both internally and externally.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event and brand strategy.
• Build relationships with influencers, journalists and media outlets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee brand guideline adherence for events, collateral production and publications.
• Work closely with digital, communications and commercial teams on brand messaging, content and design.
• Plan, coordinate and execute corporate events and employee engagements, managing budgets, vendor sourcing, negotiation and procure‑to‑pay compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management/coordination within a corporate setting.
• Proven experience in stakeholder and vendor management.
• Public speaking experience.
• Strong project‑management skills with outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management and branding.
