Audit and Assurance Manager

About the role

The Audit and Assurance Manager will ensure that the company adheres to proper accounting procedures and delivers accurate financial information on time. The role involves leading financial, process, and revenue assurance audits while communicating findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic financial audits of statements, ledgers, and systems, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare assurance reports aligning financial practices with professional regulations and accounting standards.
• Analyse quarterly management reports and contribute to internal audit reports presented to the Finance and Audit Committee.
• Perform special audits on accounts payable, invoicing, receivables aging, and other high‑risk areas.
• Monitor financial performance for proactive risk identification and mitigation.
• Review and update process flowcharts, assess inter‑departmental procedures, and support risk‑free operations.
• Collect and process large datasets on service quality and receivables, producing daily and periodic reports, visualisations, and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver special audit reports on revenue leakages and risk management.

Required profile

• Member of ICAN with 2‑5 years of audit experience.
• Strong analytical abilities to detect irregularities in financial statements.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to present audit findings to management and board members.
