AI & Automation Instructor

About the role

TechEccentric runs QurateHQ training programs that give people practical, income-generating skills. It is hiring an AI & Automation Instructor to teach learners how to understand, apply and leverage artificial intelligence and automation tools to solve real-world problems, streamline business processes and improve productivity. The role centres on project-based learning that covers identifying automation opportunities, building intelligent workflows and integrating AI tools into business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the fundamentals of AI, generative AI and practical AI applications, including prompt engineering.
• Show how to use AI tools for research, content generation, productivity, data processing and business operations.
• Introduce workflow automation with tools such as Zapier, Make and n8n, and how to design automated workflows.
• Cover API integration with websites, apps, databases and third-party services, and AI chatbots, virtual assistants and customer support automation.
• Teach building AI-powered solutions with no-code, low-code and coding tools, and how to spot repetitive processes.
• Introduce AI agents and their practical use.
• Emphasise responsible AI use, data privacy, security and ethics.
• Design and supervise hands-on assignments and projects, review work and give structured feedback.
• Mentor learners on building portfolios, spotting business opportunities and monetising their skills.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI, workflow automation or a closely related field.
• Active income as a freelancer, consultant, employee or independent professional in AI, automation or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or professional training in AI, automation or related technologies.
• Demonstrable portfolio, case studies, GitHub repositories or completed projects.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and guide beginners through project-based learning.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of generative AI tools and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one workflow automation platform such as Zapier, Make or n8n.
• Experience building and implementing automated workflows.
• Understanding of APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with AI chatbots, AI agents and business process automation.
