About the role
Shop Rhai is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage the daily operations of its accounting department within the retail and fashion sector. The role involves preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business decisions through budgeting and forecasting.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and payroll reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with local financial laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards such as IFRS/GAAP.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow statements.
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes, providing documentation and support.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of BSc in a relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
