About the role
We are seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant to join our Lagos office. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statements, ensuring tax compliance and supporting strategic decision‑making through detailed reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day financial transactions and ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with Nigerian regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analysing variances.
- Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support audit processes and internal controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an advantage.
- Experience with budgeting, ledger management and tax compliance.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
- Prior experience in the oil, gas or marine sector is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar).
