Accountant – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, payroll and reporting for our Lagos office.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the asset register by appraising, evaluating and taking inventory of company assets.
• Record, reconcile and post petty‑cash and fuel imprest transactions.
• Reconcile payments and receipts and confirm customer deposits.
• Issue receipts and manage all accounting transactions.
• Administer payroll and control income and expenditure.
• Audit financial information and compile reports, budgets and financial statements.
• Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
