Accountant – Full-time in Apapa, Lagos

About the role

The Accountant will join TeamAce Limited’s finance team in Apapa, Lagos, supporting a fast‑moving FMCG business. You will be responsible for accurate record‑keeping, timely reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions in line with company policies.
• Prepare bank and ledger reconciliations and generate regular financial reports.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and internal control requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience in FMCG, manufacturing or a similar sector.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting principles.
• Residency in Apapa or its immediate environs is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
