Account & Admin Assistant

About the role

Dynamic Edge Business Venture, an arm of Ajoke Group that distributes Cadbury products, is looking for an Account & Admin Assistant to support its accounting and office operations in Lagos. The role involves handling daily financial transactions, maintaining records, and providing general administrative support to ensure smooth office functioning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Accountant with daily accounting and financial record‑keeping activities.
• Record and update financial transactions, payments, receipts, and expenses accurately.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Assist with bank reconciliation, petty cash management, and expense tracking.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and customer balances.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and administrative records.
• Provide general administrative support, manage correspondence, and coordinate office supplies.
• Support HR/Admin with attendance records and staff documentation when required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or administration.
• Relevant work experience in accounting or office support.
• Preference for male candidates as stated in the posting.
