Academy Coordinator – Events Academy

About the role

The Academy Coordinator will lead the Events Architects Academy, creating and scaling practical training programmes for the events and hospitality sector. You will own the curriculum, delivery model, instructor network and revenue generation, ensuring a high‑quality learning experience that builds a strong community of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and continuously improve both in‑person and online training programmes that meet industry needs.
• Set pricing, create multiple income streams and achieve the annual revenue target of at least ₦150 million.
• Recruit, onboard and manage industry experts who deliver the courses, ensuring consistency and practical relevance.
• Oversee the full learner journey from registration to graduation, maintaining high engagement and alumni retention.
• Coordinate schedules, venues, technology and logistics to guarantee smooth programme execution.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to fill cohorts, build brand partnerships and expand the academy’s reach.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in building or managing education, training or certification programmes, preferably in events, hospitality or related fields.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of meeting revenue or profitability goals.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
• Proactive relationship‑building with instructors, corporate clients and partners.
