Warehouse & Materials Management Lead

About the role

Oilserv Limited is seeking a Warehouse & Materials Management Lead to oversee end‑to‑end control of project materials, consumables, tools and equipment across its EPCIC operations in Port Harcourt. The role ensures that materials are available, preserved and traceable to support uninterrupted project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, transfer and reconciliation of all project materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for pipes, valves, fittings, OCTG, structural items, instrumentation, electrical components and construction consumables.
• Supervise warehouse, lay‑down yard and storage operations, ensuring compliance with HSE and preservation standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, expediting, logistics and construction teams to streamline material movement from vendor to installation point.
• Implement traceability systems, generate material status, ageing and shortage reports, and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization, enforce FIFO and shelf‑life management for time‑sensitive items.

Required profile

• Proven experience in materials planning, inventory management and warehouse operations within EPC or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of preservation procedures, hazardous material handling and HSE compliance.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple project sites.
