Tourism Officer

About the role

The Tourism Officer will support the planning, coordination and promotion of tourism packages, tours and related services for clients in Lagos. You will act as a key point of contact, helping customers design itineraries, obtain quotations and finalize bookings while ensuring a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and promote tourism packages, excursions and travel‑related services.
• Assist clients with destination selection, accommodation, transportation, tours and activities.
• Provide accurate information on travel requirements, costs, itineraries and available services.
• Prepare customized travel itineraries and quotations based on client needs and budgets.
• Follow up with enquiries to convert them into bookings and sales.
• Conduct market research to identify new destinations, trends and business opportunities.
• Support marketing and promotional activities for tourism services.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, payments and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve travel‑related issues professionally.
• Prepare regular reports on sales, customer feedback and business development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant travel regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of an OND.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar tourism or travel role.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
