Social Media Marketing Manager – Consumer Brands

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Manager for consumer brands will own the day‑to‑day growth of SnappyCX’s brand and founder social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest. This senior, hands‑on position reports on follower, reach and engagement metrics and works on U.S. Eastern business hours while operating as a fully remote independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Drive follower, reach and engagement targets across all platforms and report weekly.
• Monitor accounts multiple times daily, respond to comments and DMs within 24 hours, and proactively engage comparable accounts.
• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar for each platform, including stories and captions.
• Lead creative teams of videographers and graphic designers, issuing detailed briefs and enforcing standards and deadlines.
• Provide clear direction and specifications for founder on‑camera or on‑mic content.
• Manage scheduling, publishing and inbox tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later and Buffer, and recommend tool changes in writing.
• Follow written approval rules for founder’s personal channels, especially LinkedIn.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing social media for a consumer brand, with at least 2 years accountable for growth numbers.
• Direct experience leading videographers and graphic designers, with examples of managing performance.
• Proven growth results demonstrated through at least two case studies with real metrics.
• Experience coordinating photographers, web designers or developers is a strong plus.
