Site Finishing Foreman - Construction

About the role

The Site Finishing Foreman supervises and coordinates all finishing works on a construction site, making sure activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily finishing activities and workers on site.
• Coordinate works such as plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, ceilings, carpentry, doors, joinery and waterproofing.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications, and allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors by project priority.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is finished on schedule.
• Inspect ongoing and completed works for quality, and coordinate with the Site Engineer on technical issues.
• Check that materials are installed per manufacturer recommendations and request materials and tools needed each day.
• Coordinate finishing with civil, MEP, electrical, plumbing and other site teams, and report issues, delays and shortages to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in construction finishing works, preferably in residential, commercial, hospitality or high-end projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of finishing materials and techniques.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Experience supervising workers and subcontractors.
