Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s internal control and risk management frameworks. This role requires deep business understanding, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to drive corrective actions across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and iterate the internal control system, regularly evaluating its effectiveness and recommending enhancements.
• Conduct comprehensive risk management, develop risk‑identification and early‑warning mechanisms, and oversee remediation of major control defects.
• Perform special audits, collaborate with business units to implement rectification projects, and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate internal audits to meet external audit and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Support the development of the company’s governance structure and promote a culture of compliance.
• Report audit findings and internal‑control status to senior management and relevant departments.
• Assist the Group Internal Control and Internal Audit Department with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience, including at least 4 years in financial services and 2 years in a senior‑management role.
• Experience in risk management, internal control or auditing within accounting firms, consulting firms, internet companies, financial institutions or multinational enterprises.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and development/operations processes of internet‑based businesses.
• Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA or CIA are mandatory.
• Strong initiative, learning ability, communication, coordination and reporting skills.
