Sales Associate

About the role

Deenik Fashion Store is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join its retail team in Lagos. You will be the front‑line representative, welcoming customers, understanding their fashion needs and driving sales in a dynamic store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable fashion products.
• Promote items and actively work towards daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Provide accurate information on product features, pricing and availability.
• Process orders and payments accurately.
• Follow up on enquiries and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure merchandise is well‑displayed, labelled and the sales floor is tidy.
• Assist with stock checks, report low‑stock or damaged items.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Support order fulfilment and dispatch across sales channels.
• Maintain accurate sales records and provide daily updates.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or sales experience.
• At least an HND qualification.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
