Retail Sales Manager

About the role

The Retail Sales Manager will lead our supermarket and FMCG channel sales in Lagos, driving product listings, stock availability, and brand visibility. You will work closely with buyers, store managers, and internal teams to achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing supermarket accounts and acquire new ones.
• Secure product listings and negotiate favourable retail terms.
• Ensure consistent product availability, timely re‑ordering and proper stock rotation.
• Improve shelf positioning, visibility and in‑store branding.
• Plan and execute promotions, tastings and other sales activities.
• Monitor pricing, stock levels, expiry dates and competitor actions.
• Supervise sales representatives and merchandisers.
• Build strong relationships with buyers, branch managers and store personnel.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales and distribution targets.
• Submit regular sales, stock and account‑performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years verifiable experience in supermarket, FMCG or retail‑channel sales.
• Established relationships with supermarket buyers and retail decision‑makers.
• Proven ability to secure product listings and grow sales.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos and Ogun retail markets.
• Analytical ability to assess sales performance and prepare accurate reports.
• Honest, disciplined, proactive and target‑driven.
• Age between 28 and 50 years; applicants may live anywhere in Lagos.
