About the role
The Procurement Assistant will support the Procurement Manager in handling internal purchase requests, managing supplier interactions, and ensuring timely delivery of materials for Banarly Nigeria Ltd.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and track internal purchase requests and source quotations from existing and new suppliers.
- Prepare Purchase Orders in the ERP system and maintain an updated tracker of all open requests and orders.
- Coordinate with stores to confirm receipt of materials and inform end‑users of order status.
- Organise supplier invoices, support Accounts with payment documentation, and maintain proper procurement records.
- Assist in identifying and developing alternative suppliers and prepare weekly status reports.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
- 2–4 years of procurement/purchasing experience, preferably with industrial, marine or engineering materials.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.
