Pharmacy Manager

About the role

OneHealth, an online pharmacy and healthcare platform, is looking for an in-person Pharmacy Manager. The manager oversees daily pharmacy operations, supervises pharmacy technicians and integrates technology-driven solutions to improve accuracy, speed and compliance, while maintaining regulatory standards and driving continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations in line with operational KPIs, SLAs and patient satisfaction goals.
• Supervise, train and mentor pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure accurate, timely prescription processing in compliance with regulatory requirements and HMO formulary guidelines.
• Oversee inventory management to prevent stockouts and minimise wastage.
• Promote adoption of technology-enabled pharmacy tools for prescription management, reporting and patient engagement.
• Respond quickly to operational challenges, client needs and urgent prescription requests.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and turnaround times.
• Oversee immunisation services, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with relevant professional qualifications, including PCN.
• Proven experience managing pharmacy operations and supervising pharmacy technicians.
• Strong process orientation with a track record of implementing and enforcing SOPs.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology in pharmacy operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership and decision-making skills under pressure, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
