OpenLMIS Helpdesk Consultant

About the role

VillageReach is seeking an OpenLMIS Helpdesk Consultant to provide frontline technical and user support for the OpenLMIS system in Nigeria. The consultant will act as the primary point of contact for users, troubleshoot issues, and help improve system adoption within the national health supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, track, and resolve user issues via phone, email, or in‑person support.
• Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate technical teams and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Document support requests, resolution steps, and recurring issues in the helpdesk tracking system.
• Prepare periodic support and performance reports.
• Guide end‑users on correct OpenLMIS workflows, data entry, and reporting.
• Assist with onboarding, refresher training, and development of training materials, user guides, and FAQs.
• Collaborate with technical teams and implementation partners to strengthen helpdesk processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified OpenLMIS Helpdesk Officer consultant with experience providing technical support for health logistics systems.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with government and partner users.
• Ability to document issues clearly and produce performance reports.
