Mobile Outreach Supervisor – Immunization Services

About the role

The Mobile Outreach Supervisor will coordinate and supervise mobile immunization outreach services in underserved and hard‑to‑reach communities in Javi, Kaduna. The role ensures high‑quality implementation, strengthens community mobilization, and oversees logistics, team performance and service delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and supervision of mobile immunization outreach activities.
• Ensure high‑quality outreach implementation and adherence to service delivery standards.
• Strengthen community mobilization and demand generation for immunization.
• Oversee logistics, vaccine handling and team performance.
• Contribute to expanding equitable access to immunization, reducing zero‑dose populations and improving overall program performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Community Health, Health Education, Epidemiology, Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
• Registered Nurse, Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) or similar professional certification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in immunization programming, outreach coordination or community health service delivery.
• Experience with donor‑funded public‑health projects (e.g., GAVI, Global Fund, UNICEF, WHO, DoS) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of routine immunization systems, outreach strategies and primary health‑care operations.
• Experience conducting supportive supervision, outreach coordination and community mobilization.
• Familiarity with DHIS2, immunization reporting tools and vaccine logistics systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in remote and hard‑to‑reach settings; knowledge of Kaduna State context and local languages is a plus.
