Marketing Trainee

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Trainee to support Sakopower’s promotion of solar, inverter and battery solutions. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in lead generation, market research and customer engagement within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in promoting solar, inverter, battery and related products.
• Explain basic product features and benefits to customers.
• Generate new leads and follow up with prospective and existing customers.
• Support outdoor marketing activities, exhibitions and promotional events.
• Conduct basic market research on competitors, customer needs and market opportunities.
• Maintain and update customer and marketing records.
• Assist with social media and other marketing campaigns as needed.
• Prepare and submit daily or weekly marketing activity reports.
• Participate in product, sales and company training programmes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• At least an HND in a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to learn about renewable energy products.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; ability to learn marketing tools is a plus.
