About the role
The Laboratory Technician will join BMValues Integrated Services Ltd in Lagos, supporting the daily operations of the laboratory. You will be responsible for handling samples, conducting tests, and ensuring accurate data recording while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, label, and analyze laboratory samples.
- Design and execute tests according to standard operating procedures, record observations and interpret results.
- Conduct experiments to verify or reject hypotheses using established scientific methods.
- Organise and store chemicals, fluids and compressed gases following safety guidelines.
- Record all data on paper and electronic forms with precision.
- Maintain equipment, assist in ordering supplies and ensure laboratory cleanliness.
- Strictly follow safety protocols at all times.
Required profile
- Valid laboratory technician license.
- Minimum of one year of relevant laboratory experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
