Junior Treasury Officer

About the role

The Junior Treasury Officer will support Renmoney’s treasury function, ensuring optimal liquidity, funding cost, and compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria regulations. This role contributes directly to the stability of Renmoney’s consumer lending and financial services business.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and reconcile all bank accounts.
• Book and liquidate deposits, maintain fixed‑deposit schedules and liquidity buffers.
• Support funding activities such as bank lines, placements and borrowings.
• Execute and monitor treasury transactions, maintaining deal tickets and confirmations.
• Prepare daily treasury reports and assist with budgeting, forecasting and ALCO presentations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, CBN regulations and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Identify and escalate liquidity, funding, market and operational risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in treasury, finance, banking or financial services.
• Exposure to non‑bank financial institutions is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as CIBN (associate) or Microfinance Certification Programme are desirable.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Familiarity with core banking or treasury systems.
