Head of Operations – Hybrid, 300k salary

About the role

NewsDirect Media Group is seeking a Head of Operations to lead day‑to‑day activities across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, the HOP will translate strategic vision into operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, accountability and sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all departments, fostering a culture of discipline and high performance.
• Collaborate with the GMD to convert the company’s vision into actionable operational plans and monitor their execution.
• Supervise departmental functions, manage administrative support and ensure delivery of at least 15 high‑quality editions within a three‑month period.
• Facilitate communication between Operational HQ, Corporate HQ and branch offices, maintaining consistent standards and culture.
• Maintain clear internal reporting and represent the company in external communications.

Required profile

• Proactive, seasoned operations professional with strong leadership capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple departments and drive operational efficiency.
• Experience in implementing strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results.
